Captain Rob Semkewicz has been actively fishing Sandy Hook and Raritan Bays since he was seven years old. By age thirteen, he was working weekends on his father's boat the Bob Jac, and he also worked summer weekdays on other vessels in the Atlantic Highlands party boat fleet. Rob received his Captains' License at age eighteen.
